heritagehousedealers.com: New Inventory Question

Hey everyone, quick question. I’ve been browsing the site for a while now, but it feels like I always have bad timing. Every time I log on, I mostly just see items marked 'ending soon' and feel like I'm missing the boat on the fresh listings. Does anyone know if there’s a specific day of the week they usually upload new lots? Or is it pretty random? Just trying to figure out the best time to check so I can actually see the inventory before it gets bid up.

I feel your pain, I missed a great dozer last week because I checked too late. From what I can tell, Saturdays are usually the big day for new inventory. They probably want people to have the weekend to think about bidding

It seems pretty random to me, to be honest. Sometimes I’ll see a bunch of new listings on a Thursday, other times it’s a Sunday night. I think they just add them as they get the equipment cleared from the yard. Best bet is to just check daily

Sorry for the off-topic question, but I’ve never heard of heritagehousedealers.com. Are they having great deals or is it mostly retail price?

Thank you guys, so I suppose there isn't a specific day or date when auctions start

Yeah, the deals can be crazy because it’s blind auctions. Since nobody knows what the other person is bidding, you can sometimes snag a machine for way less than it's worth.

You submit your maximum bid, but you can’t see anyone else's offer. If you're lucky enough to bid the highest, you win it.

I usually get an email when new bids are available if you're already registered. It’s random, so you gotta rely on those alerts

It takes some luck. I bid a lot of times but only one time I won a bid at a very good price. The best part is that the equipment is in great condition, better than the photos showed

I seen a Facebook ad from them and the ending time was 5 days but there wasn't any impressive machine at the time, just some older stuff that looked rough but I will keep looking maybe something nice comes up
